Career Path shows you every club a footballer signed for, in order, and asks for the name. These are the careers that make that hard — 25 players whose transfer histories read like a passport, taken from the same database the game deals from.

Luca Toni leads it with 15 different clubs. Read the chains the way the game asks you to: cover the name, start at the left, and see how far you get before you are sure.

Why a club can appear twice

Because the player went back. A chain is the order the transfers happened in, not a set of clubs, so Mario Balotelli passes through AC Milan twice and Vágner Love returns to Palmeiras and to Corinthians. The count beside each name is of different clubs, which is why it can be lower than the number of steps in the line.

Where the data comes from

The game's own player database — the one every Career Path round is generated from. Nothing on this page was written for it: the list is the players with the most clubs, filtered to names a football follower will recognise. Club names are shown as the game shows them.
